In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was younger, my parents had a huge CD collection & a six-disc stereo system. Some of my earliest memories are them playing albums loud & us dancing in the living room with the sun beaming in the windows. Those are still my happiest memories. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm Gregory Alan Isakov, The Weatherman The 1975, The 1975 (Deluxe) These records memorialize pivotal chapters of my life that shaped the songwriter I am today. Honorable mention being Woodland by The Paper Kites. Turning words to art, coupling that with sonics that sound the way love & heartbreak feel.. it's magic. Tell us why you chose this song. “Letters” Letters is the song that started as an email that I realized I couldn't hit send on. It's raw, in the moment, and the real realization that something deeply beautiful ended tragically. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was traveling to Manila, Philippines on tour & meeting fans who knew my lyrics by heart. Their kindness and gratitude reminded me of why I write music in the first place and the importance of continuing to do so. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still dream of touring the world and letting my music take me somewhere new. I want to perform in cities I’ve never been to, connect with listeners in real life, and build memories around the songs.
