In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Nicole - As a toddler sitting with my father listening to jazz records through giant studio headphones, he described the various instruments to me and had me focus just on them as he called them out. "Now listen for the drum. Do you hear it?" What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory B.B. King, Blues Is King Miles Davis, Sketches of Spain Dwight - "The Low End Theory" - played weekly in college at our poker games. "Blues is King" - found at a truck stop and it has my favorite version of Willie Nelson's "Night Life" on it. "Sketches in Spain" - the mood of the album transports me. Tell us why you chose this song. “You And I” Nicole - I always can recall the moment Dwight and I wrote it together. Our dog, Apple, was sitting with us and seemed to be paying close attention the whole time. The sun was shining through the window. It's a fond memory. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Nicole - Touring in Ohio and our drummer, Ezra Oklan, bought and immediately drank a strawberry milk and gatorade and then chased Dwight around the van for half an hour. Dwight - recording in a studio on a beautiful fjord in Norway. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Dwight & Nicole - I'd like to be the musical guest on SNL.
