In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom and dad would always put on The Beatles in our living room for toddler me to dance around to. They put me up for piano lessons soon after. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hippie Van” This song is important to me because it encompasses so much about what I love about music. It is a spirit raiser that is trying to make and keep you happy. It centers around escapism and the hippie van image is a great conduit for that. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? James Taylor has featured me on a few of his accounts. He being one of my big influences, I greatly appreciated the nod.
