In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. An early musical memory was my Mom taking me to a local park and exposing me to live jazz music after my father passed away. It stuck with me and helped me deal with his loss at such a young age. Music has been a healing ointment in that sense. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ella Fitzgerald, Ella Swings Gently with Nelson Frank Sinatra, Songs for Swingin' Lovers! Seth MacFarlane, Once in a While I chose these albums because they have had a great influence on me for the kind of music I wanted to make. These singers and their arrangers are a match made in musical heaven. There hasn't been a time where I don't go back to these albums to learn. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable experiences in my career has been producing and performing my recent Christmas show. It was a great lesson in getting a band together, rehearsing, marketing, and inviting people from all around to support us! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a few items on my musical bucket list! I'd love to perform with the John Wilson Orchestra, perform at Carnegie Hall, and make a record in the style of the old Hollywood, mid-century standard albums like my idols from that time in music.
