About Dre Carlan

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It was my junior year of high school, early-2000s; I was gifted a very special instrument from a very special person; a blue Tom DeLonge Signature Strat from my mom. Needless to say, our home was filled with the "What's My Age Again?" riff for days. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Sinatra, Ultimate Sinatra The Bronx, The Bronx (I) blink-182, Enema of the State Between them, they capture who I am, what I'm about, and why music is such a huge part of my life. The Bronx for their angst, blink for their energy, and Sinatra for his class/legacy. If my life were a movie, these three would be its soundtrack. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Through and Through” This song is dedicated to my mother who's beaten cancer five different times. It's about her journey, strength, and endless positivity. She's my hero and biggest role model. I can only hope that I'll be able to repay her kindness and love one day. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being in my early stages, I still think it's inspiring whenever I get a play from a country on the other side of the world, it's motivation for me to keep going. The person is a complete stranger and yet, they're still taking the time to listen. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Collaborate with The Bronx. Tour with blink. Put out progressively more professional releases that take listeners to the next level in terms of pure, heartfelt energy.
