In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents enrolled me in guitar lessons near New York City when I was 9 years old. My older brother by four years taught me how to play drums. when I was 12. I attended West Point as a freshman and was forced to auditioned for the choir. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carly Simon, The Best of Carly Simon David Bowie, David Bowie (aka Space Oddity) [2015 Remaster] Magical Piano Player, Piano Renditions of Coldplay I must say I love The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Billy Joel, and Elton John. I chose these 3 albums because Coldplay is so balanced between hard and soft rock, David Bowie is so brash and original with his messages, and Carly Simon so elegant. I was born near New York City but always wanted to live in Seattle from about the age 12. I must have seen Seattle on television while living in NY. I contoured my career so I could actually live here, and I love the Pacific NW.
