In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memories are with my Gramma playing her old foot pump organ in the parlor of the old family farm homestead on Snider Mountain. We lost her when I was really young, but I cherish the memory of her playing old gospel hymns. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Blood On the Tracks Midnight Oil, Blue Sky Mine The Clash, London Calling Expanded Edition These are all throwback albums for me but I love them all. Dylan's is a lyrical assassin at his best on "Blood On The Tracks" teaching me to draw my meaning from his songs. London Calling is fierce & musical. I wore out my Blue Sky Mine cassette. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Trouble Is” I love this song. It's been most listened to song on Apple Music. I'm a fan of songs in minor keys that have a mid tempo driving rhythm. The lyrics in the this song are special to me and I always like the line "your smile melted every part of me". What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A few of my most memorable moments include preforming next to Lindsay Ell, The Recklaws and Nice Horse at the official CCMA Songwriter's Stage in Calgary. Opening for Teagan and Sara was cool as well as hearing my song on the NBCs The Voice. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many bucket list things left to do like: playing at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville, getting a legendary artist to cut one of my songs, writing a number one hit!
