In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents were Clapton fans. When I was 4 years old I'd sit with my ear pressed against the speaker, playing "Tears in Heaven" on repeat, crying my eyes out because they told me it was about his son who had died. It resonated with me deeply. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? James Brown, Get On Up: The James Brown Story (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Lil Wayne, Tha Carter II Lil Wayne, Tha Carter When I first heard Wayne I felt less alone and less weird because I heard someone who couldn't shut "it" off. Tell us why you chose this song. “Betty (What He Got)” This song was an absolute blast to write and was the first hip-hop song I ever dropped. The reception it has gotten in a short time has reminded me I'm on the right path and chasing my purpose. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting an offer from one of my favorite labels and rejecting it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything. I wasted 16 years of my life stuck in addition, I have a son due in less than a month. It's moon or bust at this point.
