In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 19, I was in an acoustic duo. Somehow we got on the bill to open for D.R.I. If you're into the punk scene at all, you know how awful of a matchup that is. I still got to meet Kurt Brecht and talk about Probot, so it was a really cool time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Green Lung, Woodland Rites HIM, Screamworks: Love In Theory and Practice Ra, Black Sun (Remastered) Ra changed my life in my teens and made me hear music in a whole new way. Screamworks by HIM is (in my opinion) the greatest single record ever made for studio drumming in terms of "serving the song." Green Lung did the same thing as Ra in my 30s. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing a return gig with one of my old bands in the middle-of-nowhere Arkansas, a fan came up to shake my hand wearing a hat, the brim down low. He couldn't believe I remembered his name. Ronnie, I do this stuff for guys like you. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Keep making these songs 'till I die. Hopefully that takes a very long time. On a more conventional note, DesertFest would be a killer gig.
