About DOCO
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My grandma was a classical piano teacher, and helped raise me. We would spend hours sitting side-by-side working on a song. When we weren't at the piano, we'd be building some crazy contraption. She's the reason I'm the music-loving engineer I am. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bryce Vine, Lazy Fair - EP Foster the People, Torches Sum 41, All Killer, No Filler My friends call me a golden retriever, cause I'm always itching to play and explore. These albums embody that golden retriever "play" energy. The bad type of "growing up" is when people lose their spark and grow complacent. Make life your playground. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Candle Flame” This is the first song that I wrote lyrics for and released. I love it because I didn't have a perfect plan, but just sent it. I've grown a lot as a producer since that track, both technically & professionally, but I strive to send crazy ideas. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time they turned on the CO2 cannons at one of my sets - and let them absolutely rip during the drops. It was probably a year after I started DJing, and the sound of the "woosh" while everyone jumps got me addicted - the energy was unreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to open for Zedd - his songs are an incredible blend of happy, singalong-worthy lyrics and pure EDM energy. So, Zedd, if you're reading this and need an opener, let me know where I need to fly and I'll be there :)
