About DJ Durel

DJ Durel is the unofficial fourth member of Migos. He serves as the Atlanta trio’s tour DJ and produces songs for that group and other artists in their orbit. • Durel first DJed for Migos at a show in his hometown of Cleveland. The group’s original tour DJ failed to show up, so he was tapped to fill in. • He produced one song for Migos’ 2015 debut studio album, Yung Rich Nation, and served as a mixing engineer on their chart-topping 2017 follow-up, Culture. • In 2017, Durel bagged six production credits on the Quality Control Music compilation Control the Streets, Vol. 1. • Durel is listed as an official artist—alongside Migos—on the scorching 2018 single “Hot Summer.” That same year, he executive produced Migos’ Culture II album. • He’s given artist credit on City Girls and Saweetie’s 2019 collab “Come On,” which appears on QC’s Control the Streets, Vol. 2. Durel produced the song with Cubeatz. • Durel produced Quavo and Rich the Kid’s “Bad Moves,” off 2020’s Bad Boys For Life soundtrack.
