About Disciples of the Apocalypse

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting in Herman’s living room. We knew that we played instruments but never together. After a hefty amount of beer, Josh picked up a guitar strumming old Metallica & Alice In Chains songs. We just started grooving too it. All drunken happenstance. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Clutch, Blast Tyrant (Deluxe Edition) Damageplan, New Found Power High On Fire, The Art of Self Defense A touch of hard rock. A dash of sludgy doom. A sprinkle of groove metal. That’s the recipe to DOA. Simple but effective. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dead Rats” Josh penned lyrics after encountering a patient at work. They tell of a person that legit thought he was being hunted down because he had went to the cops and testified against that person. Really there was no one hunting him. It was all in his head. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? DOA started as a project amongst friends to get through all the lockdowns of 2020. Three friends that worked in the emergency medical field trying to hang on to our sanity. Really the coming CD release is our high water mark which we aim to surpass. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Anything Left? We are just getting started. Prepare for sonic devastation.
