In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories is my first piano lesson when I was six years old. I remember how excited I was to see notes on the page and turn them into music. I also had a strong sense of responsibility toward my new found musical interest. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dr. John, Dr. John's Gumbo Little Feat, The Best of Little Feat (Remastered) The Band, Rock of Ages (Live) [Expanded Edition] These albums blend traditional roots music aesthetics with contemporary rock style. The grooves are organic and the feeling is authentic. The performances are enhanced by the human element. This is music being performed, not manufactured. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I'm a Loser” This song tells a story of human experience. It pokes fun at the self- perceived loser in life, the one who always seems to come up on the short end. Musically, it has a solid, swampy groove that can't be heard without one being compelled to move. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One memorable moment was being on stage at a special concert for the Colorado Music Hall of Fame backing up several artists including Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, John Oates, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, among others. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to perform at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville before I hang it up (which will be never, I hope). I would also like to see one of my songs performed by some up-and-coming young artist and see it launch their dream career.
