Dirt Buyer

New York's Dirt Buyer blurs the margins between slowcore, emo-folk, and noisy, downcast indie rock. The band is centered around the songwriting of singer and guitarist Joe Taylor Sutkowski whose origins lay in New England. Their eponymous 2019 debut is also their most lo-fi effort; subsequent releases, Dirt Buyer II (2023) and Dirt Buyer III (2026), added a modicum of studio polish to their still-rugged sound which has become increasingly heavier.
