In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was around 2 years old, I remember my biological Dad was in a band with some friends. One time they came over to practice and I can still vividly remember the feeling of the drums beating in my chest. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Deftones, White Pony Nirvana, Nevermind Playboi Carti, MUSIC Nevermind was the album that made me realize I could make music. White Pony was a huge influence on my early vocal style, and MUSIC is more of my evolution in musical tastes. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Streetlight Sunrise” This song marks a new chapter in my musical evolution, as well as many life changes in which led to me making music again. This song, and ones to folllow, is an impulse rather than a project, the end of over-thinking and over-complicating. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Shawn Crahan from Slipknot came to our old band practice in '05, signing bands to his new label. He watched, left no feedback and never saw him again. Later found out he didn't like that I didn't play drums to a metronome. Then his label flopped. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to make a normal living from making music. No 12 cars or big houses or entitlement that comes with it. Just to quit the factory and do what I love for a living. Even if it meant touring 24/7.
