In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child I sang in a church choir, and in high school began dissecting popular music to understand it's construction. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carly Rae Jepsen, E•MO•TION (Deluxe) Coldplay, A Rush of Blood to the Head Taylor Swift, 1989 (Deluxe Edition) For their exceptional cohesion, musicality, and emotional depth. "1989" by Taylor Swift is meticulously crafted, "A Rush of Blood to the Head" by Coldplay strikes a perfect balance, and "Emotion" by Carly Rae Jepsen is euphoric and nostalgic. Tell us why you chose this song. “Spinning Bottles” The song was written as I reflected on a low period in my life when I was depressed as I was dealing with some difficult relationships. I used spinning bottles as a metaphor for the way I was trapped in a cycle of taking the blame. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment so far was hearing my song "Wasted Luv" on the radio! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely. I aspire to create a dance record and a fully self-written album. Touring worldwide with my last album "Rebirth" and the upcoming one slated for later this year is also a major goal.
