Aretha Franklin, Lady Soul Chet Baker, The Best of Chet Baker Sings Willie Nelson, Red Headed Stranger Chet -The album that got me into singing. Willie - The album that made me truly understand the power of simplicity. It made me want to buy a guitar and start writing songs. Aretha - Perhaps the greatest vocalist ever, crushing incredible songs. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Turn Time Off” It's been amazing to see how this song has resonated with people. I remember writing this and thinking it was special but wondering if I could really pull it off. It helped me move outside of my comfort zone and lean into what is inspiring a song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'll never forget playing moments after Doc Watson, bluegrass legend, at Merlefest in North Carolina. The crowd was massive, I was freaking out and it couldn't have gone over better. A memory I'll never forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's tons left and I hope to do this for many more years so we'll see!! But playing the Opry someday is definitely up there.
