About David Kerrison
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first studio experience was in the famous Marquee Studios in Wardor Street. From the get-go I decided that I wanted to be involved with studios more than live. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King (Expanded Edition) Led Zeppelin, Houses of the Holy (Remastered) Pink Floyd, The Wall I was lucky to see all three bands live in London. Living in London at the time I was part of the London music scene, I was able to experience many different genres of music and went to live concerts at least once a week. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Heavenly Fox” One of my favorite tracks from my "MASKS" album. It was a challenge to get traditional instruments into a western genre with Japanese tuning, but I feel I succeeded and found a new direction. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Udoor (5 Annual Live Performances in a cave facing the pacific ocean) However the uniqueness of this event was in the fact that there were two audiences sitting face to face with the orchestra and dancers performing in between. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to explore the sonic capabilities of remixing my music in Atmos and also writing new music using surround sound from inception.
