In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was writing the song "Supreme" off my very first project in 2014. I was so hungry, driven, and had so much pain to get off. It's still one of my favorite records. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, BEYONCÉ Destiny's Child, The Writing's On the Wall Lana Del Rey, Born to Die All three of these albums changed my life. 'The Writings on the Wall' being the first album I ever got and played cover to cover as a child, and 'Self-Titled' being the album that inspired me to finally decide to give my music career a chance. Tell us why you chose this song. “Contrary to Norm” "Contrary to Norm" is one of the most personal, vulnerable transparent songs I've ever written. It took a few cuts before I finally felt like I'd delivered it the way it was intended. This is my life and my soul in a record, and I'm very proud of it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was covering the coveted Pride issue of Out Magazine in June 2020. Being able to share my story and my music on a global scale was so motivating, especially during a time when the world was on pause. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to headline my own tour one day, star in TV shows/films and work with Beyoncé, my favorite artist of all time, in some capacity!
