In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started piano lessons at a very young age. I used to spend hours experimenting with different sound combinations between the keys, and I can remember starting to write songs as early as 7 years old. BANKS, The Altar Evanescence, The Open Door Kimbra, The Golden Echo (Deluxe Version) Three very contrasting albums, though similar in certain respects. I love the harmonic values these albums provide, and their overall sounds and aesthetics. These albums also hold a very special place in my heart in a contextual way. Em Girouard)” My best friend in the whole world is featured on this song. We used to frequently perform duets together in high school.
