In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 4, I was too small to hold even the tiniest violin. My parents tried again when I was 5, long before I started primary school at 7. Looking back, music was forced into my hands before I was even strong enough to carry it What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gorillaz, Demon Days Lana Del Rey, Born to Die Tame Impala, Currents My dad got me a Gorillaz cassette in the early 2000s - my youth, my carefree days. I’d spend hours just lying there, lost in that album. Later, listening to Tame Impala, I had this vision of crashing my motorcycle. And then, it actually happened. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I first started writing indie music and released my first video, I was surprised that so many people I didn't know actually liked it. It gave me a huge motivation boost to keep going no matter what. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My only desire is to become independent (right now, I’m living with my parents and recording music in a friend’s summer house that doesn't even have electricity). My long-term goal is to be as successful as my idols.
