In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest music memory is how upset my brother would get every time I would ask if I could play his guitar as a little kid. He was the first musician in the family. I still think what really bothered him was how much better I was at it than him. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Avenged Sevenfold, Nightmare (Deluxe Edition) Def Leppard, Hysteria ODESZA, A Moment Apart (Deluxe Edition) The entire vision of CYNK is to blend both rock/metal and EDM, two genres of music that influence me the most. "Nightmare" is something that's on the full-metal spectrum, "A Moment Apart" full EDM, and "Hysteria" a good mix between rock and pop. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment so far is when Doug (my guitar tech) and I finally finished my custom guitar with the Akai launchpad in it. Seeing it become real taught me that any vision I have can take shape with dedication and the people to support me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To perform on the Red Rocks Amphitheater stage. Yes, it's incredibly cliché, but being from Denver gives Red Rocks a hint of sentimental value, and seeing it change into the icon it is today was a huge part of growing up and wanting to make music.
