In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Swinging my legs from the piano bench (I still can't sit still). I was 5, & I just loved it. It's been a long love - off and on, and lately, we're back on. There, I brought the Phantom of the Opera to life, at will with my own hands. Pure magic. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brodsky Quartet, Elvis Costello, The Juliet Letters Janis Ian, Between the Lines (Remastered) Johnny Cash, American Recordings At their heart, each center on strings. First: classical quartet (using every technique) with a new age twist. Next: piano, guitars, lesbian & cello, my middle school soundtrack. Last: lone guitar & a rebel. Stories on stories on stories... What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I "performed" at a few of my newest inspiration, Adele's, 360 Australia concerts. I got the call while chaperoning a field trip at work. Days later, I skipped school, threw on a tux, & played bass in the video for Chasing Pavements. NYC is insane! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm just getting started. I've never performed my own songs live...except for students at school. I'm so excited to share my songs & hope to resonate with others the way Tom Waits, Tchaikovsky, John Prine, Janis Ian & so many others did with me.
