∙ At age 16, Sheldrake formed the band Gentle Mystics alongside singer Noémie duCimetière and rapper Elian Gray.
∙ He traveled to New York in 2013 to study vocal improvisation with Grammy Award-winning singer Bobby McFerrin.
∙ In 2017, he composed the soundtrack for a Galapagos Islands-focused episode of Louie Schwartzberg’s nature series Moving Art.
∙ “Come Along,” from his debut album, The Much Much How How and I, became a viral hit after being featured in a commercial for the Apple iPhone XR.
∙ Birdsong is a recurring theme in Sheldrake’s work and was the inspiration for Wake Up Calls, a collection of pieces composed using recordings of (mostly) endangered British birds.
