Drawing influence from the Dirty South era and experimenting with modern trap soundscapes, emerging rapper Co Cash is among the new generation of artists powering the Memphis hip-hop renaissance. • Cash made the decision to be a rapper in fourth grade, and by high school, his music was so popular that one of his songs was played at his prom. • After graduating, Cash briefly attended Middle Tennessee State University alongside superproducer and fellow Memphian Tay Keith, who has since produced most of Cash’s discography. • In 2018, Cash collaborated with Tay Keith to release his debut project, Foolhardy. The standout single “Ca$hDaY fReeStYLe” catapulted the rapper into the public eye and eventually earned him a deal with Interscope Records. • Cash released F.A.C.T.S.
