About Co Cash
Drawing influence from the Dirty South era and experimenting with modern trap soundscapes, emerging rapper Co Cash is among the new generation of artists powering the Memphis hip-hop renaissance.
• Cash made the decision to be a rapper in fourth grade, and by high school, his music was so popular that one of his songs was played at his prom.
• After graduating, Cash briefly attended Middle Tennessee State University alongside superproducer and fellow Memphian Tay Keith, who has since produced most of Cash’s discography.
• In 2018, Cash collaborated with Tay Keith to release his debut project, Foolhardy. The standout single “Ca$hDaY fReeStYLe” catapulted the rapper into the public eye and eventually earned him a deal with Interscope Records.
• Cash released F.A.C.T.S. (F**k A Critic I’m the S**t) as his major label debut in 2019. The mixtape’s most notable single, “tOlD mE,” features Lil Yachty.
