My friends wanted to put a band together and I could play the drums but another friend was better, so I said I'd write the lyrics. Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy These albums came at such fundamental moments in my life. Confidence was gained listening to Monster. Heartbreak was helped listening to Doing It Wrong. Gratitude came from Love Yourz. All these projects did so much for me. I had Covid early on, I was really sick. I was locked in my parent's basement for over a month trying to recover, not knowing what would happen and I still made a whole song and music video. And it's a bop
