About Chayín Rubio

Vocalist and guitarist Chayin Rubio sang in the school choir in his hometown of Guasave, Mexico, and he began writing songs at age 15. ∙ In 2018, Rubio released his debut album, El Ahijado Consentido, which marked him as a rising star on Mexico’s norteño scene. ∙ “Ya Me Enteré” peaked at No. 20 on Mexico’s iTunes Top 100 Latin Songs chart in 2019. ∙ He has contributed guest vocals to 3BallMTY’s hit singles “Tequila” and “Quisiera Tenerte.” ∙ In 2019, Rubio teamed up with other young “Mexillenial” stars Cristian Jacobo, Neto Bernal, Cheyo Carrillo, and Geru y Su Legión 7 for a cover of Morat’s “¿Cómo Te Atreves?” ∙ El Bebeto, a popular regional singer who hails from Rubio’s hometown, recorded a cover of Elefante’s “Así Es La Vida” with him in 2019. ∙ “La Dosis Perfecta,” from his album Mi Sueño, hit no. 3 on the Mexican radio charts in 2020.
