Channel Tres is the solo alias of Sheldon Young, a songwriter, producer, and rapper whose output as a collaborator and headlining artist has ranged from left-field pop and hip-hop to house music heavily inspired by the form's Midwest originators. He was among the first artists signed to Godmode Music, and he released a series of acclaimed EPs for the label, starting with 2018's Channel Tres. Since then, he's issued collaborations with SG Lewis, Robyn, Disclosure, Tinashe, and many others, while remaining an in-demand presence at clubs and festivals. His first major-label EP, Real Cultural Shit, appeared in 2023.
