Cedric Noel

Indie singer/songwriter and producer/multi-instrumental Cedric Noel cut his teeth as part of multiple regional indie rock scenes in Canada while releasing self-recorded albums and EPs that traversed ambient music, intimate singer/songwriter fare, and, under the Special Solace alias, D.I.Y. R&B-pop. He made his label debut under his own name with the introspective Under a Falling Building and out the Other Side in 2017. Ten years into his recording career, 2021's Hang Time, was a mercurial set that explored issues of awareness and Black identity with songs that touched on being adopted, the notion of allies, and self-acceptance.
