In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of our earliest memories as a duo is driving around Atlanta together, trading playlists and sharing the songs that meant the most to us. That back-and-forth — discovering what the other person loved — was really where Caydus began. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill (Remastered) Massive Attack, Mezzanine Radiohead, OK Computer These three records defined an era when mainstream music had genuine edge — Mezzanine's dark atmospheres, OK Computer's anxious electronics, and Jagged Little Pill's raw emotion all felt radical yet inescapable at the same time. Tell us why you chose this song. “It matters, because...” This is one of the deepest songs we've written — both lyrically and musically. Every element of it felt like it came from a very honest place, and we're proud of how the emotion in the words and the music became one thing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Writing together for the first time felt almost accidental — we didn't plan it, it just happened. The song was Half Gone. The fact that something so effortless could go so deep was the moment we knew Caydus was real. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Having one of our songs in a film soundtrack would mean everything to us. Our music is built on atmosphere and emotion, and we've always felt it lives naturally alongside moving images — so seeing it carry a cinematic moment would be a dream.
