Cats in Space

A band utterly unafraid of pomp and swagger, Cats in Space are a British group whose soaring guitars, multi-tracked vocals, and grand-scale melodies cohere into a sound that fuses past and present. Drawing inspiration from the classic rock of the 1970s, Cats in Space write and perform with a sly sense of humor but an unironic love of arena rock, and the musicians have the skill and enthusiasm to live up to the standards of their heroes. The band began as a studio project on 2015's Too Many Gods, but the album's success led to the group taking their act on the road, and 2018's Cats Alive! confirmed they knew how to work a crowd. 2019's Daytrip to Narnia was an ambitious partial concept album, and 2024's Time Machine sounded bigger and bolder than ever before.
