Employing a lethal blend of classic thrash, punk, and NWOBHM, the aptly named heavy metal supergroup Category 7 delivers a hurricane-level rock & roll experience. Comprised of current and former members of Armored Saint, Anthrax, Machine Head, Adrenaline Mob, Exodus, Overkill, and Shadows Fall, the band formed in 2023 and inked a deal with Metal Blade the following year. Wasting no time, Category 7 released a pair of singles, "In Stitches" and "Mustang," in early 2024, which appeared on their eponymous debut album later that year.
