Blues-rock quartet Catdaddy Jones is a labor-of-love project for a group of New York-based session and backup musicians, singer Geoff Worton, guitarist M.D. Meyer, bass player Paul Bisbano, and drummer Steve Merola. The four got together for after-hours fun, but ended up attracting enough serious attention that Fountainbleu Entertainment recorded an album, Late Night in the Dog House, released in July 2003. ~ William Ruhlmann
