In typical Vegas fashion, it’s a full-blown spectacle. “We wanted a show that’s worthy of the heart and energy of Nashville and the glitz and glamour of Vegas,” she tells Apple Music. “That’s our goal every night.” The special effects are aplenty: A truck is set on fire, fans’ bachelorette parties are celebrated, a virtual orchestra performs, and there’s even a waterfall finale—all things she says she wouldn’t be able to pull off on a tour, but which work just fine in a customizable Vegas stage. “We are definitely able to do things on the Resorts World Theatre stage that we couldn’t put on a truck and move from city to city,” she says. “This show really is a reflection of my career so far, celebrating the hits that everyone has come to know and love. It’s one of the most fun shows I’ve ever done. We have such a great time onstage every night.”
- Just like the neighbor who hangs up the Christmas lights before anyone else, Carrie Underwood jumped early into the holiday spirit with the release of her seventh studio album My Gift. “I feel like I've been celebrating Christmas all year,” the country mainstay tells Apple Music about keeping herself optimistic in spite of this year’s challenges. “We persevered, and created some stuff that I'm really proud of. And for me and for my own mental and emotional well-being, it was great getting to go into the studio and sing these uplifting songs.
