With his catchy hooks, unique voice, and versatile lyrics, rapper Capolow is carrying the torch for Bay Area hip-hop.
• Born in East Oakland, Capolow grew up loving Southern hip-hop artists like Lil Boosie and Webbie. He began recording his first songs with his older brother when he was 13.
• Capolow officially began his career in 2013 as part of local group Trill Youngins.
• The rapper broke through with the 2018 single “Highway Robbery,” which inspired him to take music seriously.
• In 2020, Capolow linked up with fellow Oakland native Kamaiyah for the joint project Oakland Nights.
