About Cade Meridian
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My grandmother's apartment in Hamburg. An old radio crackling to life with folk songs. I was five, maybe six, and I understood for the first time that sound could change how a room felt—how you felt inside it. I've been chasing that ever since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (2012 Remaster) OK Computer by Radiohead—unease and beauty in the same breath. Ziggy Stardust by Bowie—proof that music is storytelling. Each one showed me music could be a mirror, a warning, a companion. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Names on The Badges” "No Name on the Badges." It's about the moment humanity disappears behind a uniform—when people become systems. This song carries the weight of what happens when we stop seeing each other. It's a warning and a plea wrapped in one track. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The day my novel was accepted into the Las Vegas library's Indie Nevada collection. I write for the ones who can't speak for themselves—and knowing this story will sit on shelves in my own city, waiting for the right reader, made it all real. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to hear my soundtrack played live with a full orchestra. And I want to know that something I wrote—a song, a story—reached someone at the exact moment they needed it and helped them feel less alone. That's the whole point.
