About Bush

Bush cofounders Gavin Rossdale and Nigel Pulsford initially bonded over their shared appreciation of The Pixies.

∙ In Canada, the band was forced to release their first two albums as Bush X, because a Canadian band held the rights to the name Bush.
∙ Rossdale cites Tom Waits and Patti Smith as songwriting influences.
∙ In 1998, they were nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance but lost to Smashing Pumpkins.
∙ Rossdale appeared as himself in an uncredited role in the 2001 film Zoolander.
∙ In 2013, Rossdale received the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement.
∙ Their song “Bullet Holes” appeared in the soundtrack for the hit film John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum.
