In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big Thief, Masterpiece (2023 Remaster) LVL UP, Return to Love Slow Pulp, Moveys Masterpiece and Return to Love came out just as I (Dan) was forming the band and recording our first EP. They hugely influenced my songwriting! Moveys came out before our second LP, Agitator, and was the record I spun the most from 2020-2022. Tell us why you chose this song. “Heartbeat” David Dean (drums, 2018-2021) and I (Dan) dug in to add little guitar gems throughout. Brian Thomas and Danielle Farley shaped the build and huge outro chorus. It's one of my favorite musical arrangements in our catalogue. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We loved opening for Built to Spill at The Palace Theatre in Calgary, AB during Sled Island 2022! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We can't wait to tour back on the East Coast of the US/Canada.
