In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I began playing trumpet at 9 yrs old and later added guitar. Then I was introduced to the Native Flute in 2018 by my son, who purchased one on a vacation. It has been quite a journey since that day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jonny Lipford, Limitless Mary Youngblood, The Offering Timothy J.P. Gomez, Embers of Freedom The Offering is an incredible collection of solo flute pieces from my first Native flute Instructor. Limitless shows the flute's diversity through cover songs by my mentor. And Timothy pushes the boundaries of what this instrument is capable of. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Solitude” Not only is this my debut single, but it is also the first composition I've ever written. It came to me in virtually complete chunks over a weekend as if I was simple the delivery mechanism. Too bad the following songs haven't come as easy. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are two. First was dueting with my original flute teacher, the First Lady of the Flute, Mary Youngblood. Second was seeing this debut single on Apple Music and the other major platforms for the first time! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's a lot on the horizon. A second single is already scheduled. A full album is well into production with a late 2024/early 2025 release goal. I intend to begin performing these songs live in the coming months as well.
