In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I'd commute via train into NYC to work with R&B/Funk producer Ira Schickman. As a classical pianist, it birthed a DNA of feeling music in my heart. Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan or JT would just stop by to hang/jam/write— yeah, I was a fly in the room. Tamela Mann)” I was battling a # of things in life from, what seemed like, every direction. Anxiety, fear, frustration, hurt, pain, lack of finances... just couldn't figure it all out. I wrote this song during that time as an encouraging word from heaven.
