One of my earliest musical memories was playing with my brothers, writing our own silly songs with an old tape recorder. It taught me that music wasn't limited to just records or the radio, and that I could write, express, and record my own music. His life is ending soon, which is so heartbreaking, but so many wonderful summers we had.
