Bria Salmena

Toronto singer/songwriter Bria Salmena brings a restless intensity to her music, blending disparate genres from punk and goth to country and ambient indie rock. She first made her name in the late 2010s as the frontwoman for the critically lauded post-punk band Frigs, then spent some time as part of Orville Peck's touring band. In the early 2020s, she launched a solo career, releasing a handful of eclectic covers EPs, then signed to Sub Pop for her full-length debut, 2025's Big Dog.
