Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about eight years old, a drum kit arrived at Christmas. My brothers set it up – all shiny and new – and one of them handed me some sticks. I hit a drum, waited, then hit another; nothing was ever the same again.

Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Deluxe Edition) 2017 Remix & Remaster "Sgt. Pepper's" flights of fancy push every boundary, but always in service of those perfect songs. When I first heard "High Violet" it felt like I'd been waiting for it all my life. Dylan just breaks my heart & sings about things no-one else does.

The guitar riff steamed off the fretboard at me, the words just came, and the musicians and engineer all just got it and jumped right on board.
