Blue Skies For Black Hearts

Portland, Oregon's Blue Skies for Black Hearts is led by vocalist/guitarist Pat Kearns. The group released their debut, This Black Heart Is Gonna Break, in 2002 before Kearns was forced to reassemble the group due to member discord and guitarist Michael Lewis' and bassist Kelly Simmons' traveling. By 2006, the limited-run Turn the Light Out and Love Is Not Enough were both available through King of Hearts Records, while the lineup included Kearns, Lewis, Simmons, and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Matthew Morgan. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
