In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory of music is hearing The Fugees' 'Killing Me Softly' on the radio every morning mesmerized by the angelic voice of Lauryn Hill. What inspired me to become an artist myself is the genius that is Michael Jackson, who is my hero. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blair Perkins, Blair Perkins Michael Jackson, Thriller USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' because as the album progresses, the sound dynamically grows. I also chose Usher's 'Confessions' because it's one of the best R&B moments of all time. Both of these albums are what I strive for artistically. Tell us why you chose this song. “Be Alone” 'Be Alone' is such a special song for me because it musically represents the sounds I grew up hearing and being inspired by. It's a cross between 80's/90's R&B with early 2000's vibes and an overall 2023 feel that truly bridges generations of music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing with Stevie Wonder is one of my highlights as an artist and every time I get the opportunity to speak with him I'm immediately inspired to do more musically to push myself to new heights. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many things on my bucket list, but my main goals as an artist is to headline a world tour, create my dream album and win my Grammy(s).
