In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the earliest albums I remember was Queen's, The Game. I wore grooves in the vinyl listening to it. I think I felt a connection to the theatricality and bold sense of melody and lyric, which are still influences in the pop jazz music I do now. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chet Baker, Chet Baker Sings Judy Garland, Judy Garland Sings Live from Carnegie Hall - April 23, 1961 Norah Jones, Come Away With Me They say if you're a fan of Chet then you're a romantic at heart, I am both. Garland's masterful performance teaches me everything about song interpretation and showmanship. Norah blends jazz and pop and proves it can be popular and timeless. I feel that the listener can bring their own story to it and decide. I also enjoy how raw and naked the arrangement is, a duet of voice and guitar. Almost like a modern lullaby. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing my music on the radio never gets old. Hearing my music on a radio station I used to listen to as a kid feels like such a validation of what I'm doing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I can't wait to do my first tour. I love the creative process, composing and recording, but it will be truly thrilling and rewarding to perform my music live and meet the fans in person and put on a real show for them.
