Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 112, 112 Juanita Bynum, A Piece of My Passion Kierra Sheard, GRACELAND (Deluxe Edition) The cohesive culmination of the music and Kierra’s passion is unmatched; she is the Mary J Blige of gospel to me. Everything that I write, arrange, and sing is directly connected to what I learned from 112. Tell us why you chose this song. “England Praise” I love my writing on this one. The story of the song displays a movie that the listener can easily imagine. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my book “Hard Conversations Book I: Breadcrumbs to the Past” and the response of the supporters. It open dialogues for family’s to grow and heal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A Dove, a Stellar, and a NAACP Award as either a writer or artist, or both
