About Belle Adair

Alabama's Belle Adair are a melodic rock and power pop-influenced outfit centered on lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Matt Green. Formed in Florence, Alabama in 2011, Belle Adair initially began as a collaboration between Green and childhood friend Ben Tanner, a touring keyboardist for Alabama Shakes. After delivering a 2011 EP, they released their 2013 full-length debut, The Brave and the Blue, on Tanner's Single Lock Records. Live slots opening for Alabama Shakes followed, although Tanner eventually stepped away from full-time membership in the project. Subsequently, a lineup solidified around Green, guitarist Adam Morrow, bassist Hayden Crawford, and drummer Reed Watson. However, over the next several years, new recordings were put on hold as Green toured with Dylan LeBlanc, and then he and the rest of Belle Adair toured as Donnie Fritts' backing band. Returning home, Belle Adair entered the iconic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals to record their sophomore album. Released in 2018, Tuscumbia featured production by Tom Schick (Wilco, Norah Jones, Ryan Adams), and included the single "Get Away." ~ Matt Collar
