In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 4 or 5 years old, I went to a high school basketball game with my parents. I remember vividly stopping, gob-smacked, in front of the pep band - that big sound of the bass drum hitting my chest, and the horns - I didn't want to move! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alison Krauss, Robert Plant, Raising Sand Kathleen Edwards, Voyageur Nick Drake, Pink Moon I love the imagery and the emotion conveyed in these - they take me to another place. Another day I might choose Amy Ray's Stag, or Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy, or ... but I return to each of these again & again when I need to be transported. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fault Line” This song describes the way it feels when you love someone, but divisions and interpersonal differences have become impossible to overcome. It compares that loss of connection to the plates shifting - to getting caught at the fault line.
