About Bass Kittens

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've always been interested in electronic sound. My dad was a ham radio operator and I remember hanging out in his "shack" as a little kid, listening to strange bleeps and oscillations from the radio equipment. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jean-Michel Jarre, Oxygene Trilogy Meat Beat Manifesto, Subliminal Sandwich Skinny Puppy, Remission Oxygene was the first album I heard that used synthesizers as the primary ingredient in a way that was catchy, as opposed to the weird experimental stuff that had preceded. The other two are industrial classics that I could listen to forever. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “All About the Music (feat. Emma Rodriguez)” This is the first track I did with Emma and her voice instantly blew me away. Usually I work alone but his song has almost a full band on it. Despite being assembled in a computer it sounds like it could be a live recording. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been lucky enough to collaborate with so many musicians that I respect. The JDs with Jack Dangers, PDF with Mark Pistel and Lynn Farmer. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to have one of my songs behind an action scene in a Marvel film. Marvel, give me a call!
